Food Smart allows you to analyze individual foods, recipes and menus as well as your diet.
Food Smart helps you to calculate your ideal weight and body mass index, as well as your daily energy requirements for weight maintenance, loss or gain.
Food Smart helps you organize recipes into recipe books and will produce a shopping list based on recipes/menus chosen.
Food Smart, designed by a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist, is easy to use and provides nutritional analysis at your fingertips.
DIABETES MANAGEMENT
Food Smart estimates Food Choice Values for menus, recipes and daily food records according to the Canadian Diabetes Association Food Choice Values guidelines, including the new Sugars Choice.
Food Smart includes Canadian Recommended Nutrient Intakes (RNIs) for all population groups (children, pregnant women, adults, seniors) to determine if your diet is well balanced.
NUTRITIONAL ANALYSIS
Food Smart contains nutritional information on more than 5200 foods and 60 nutrients, including calories, protein, fat, fibre, vitamins, minerals and amino acids.
